What were they talking about? 

They were talking about the Tech Arena at LEAP 2026. 

Because the tech industry is very good at talking about the future – but we want to show you the future. 

We’re focusing heavily on interactive sessions and demonstrations, creating a programme built around technologies in motion. So you’ll see ideas moving from concept to reality in front of your eyes. 

Here are six of the demonstrations we’re excited to see. 

A brain-computer interface that turns thought into action

Andreas Forsland (Founder and CEO at Cognixion) will demonstrate Axon-R – a non-invasive brain-computer interface that combines EEG, augmented reality and AI.

You’ll watch neural signals being captured, interpreted and transformed into actions in real time. The focus is practical and assistive, offering a glimpse into how technology can help people communicate and interact with the world around them in entirely new ways.

A prosthetic hand that learns from its user

Advances in prosthetics now work at the intersection of AI, robotics and healthcare.

Dr. Aadeel Akhtar (Founder and CEO at PSYONIC) will showcase an AI-powered bionic hand that reads muscle signals and adapts to its user in real time. The live demonstration highlights how intelligent prosthetics are creating more responsive and intuitive experiences for the people who rely on them every day.

AI enters the operating room

AI is becoming a powerful tool in healthcare, particularly when precision matters most.

Rodolphe Katra (Global Chief AI Officer at Medtronic) will guide us through advanced surgical systems that use real-time imaging, AI-driven guidance and data to support surgical teams during complex procedures.

Delivered through an interactive video format, the session offers a window into the future of surgical decision-making.

What happens when emotions become data?

Technology can already measure movement, location and performance. Sensora by HABS explores another layer of human experience.

The team will showcase technology designed to capture and visualise human emotions as real-time performance indicators – in one of the first public demonstrations of this tech. 

A global product launch at LEAP

The Tech Arena will also host the global unveiling of a new product from Luminous Labs, one of Europe's leading photobiomodulation and red-light therapy companies.

The company focuses on health-span, longevity and cellular wellness, and has chosen LEAP as the first public showcase for its latest release. More details are under wraps for now – so we can’t wait to be in that room.
