Introducing: our weekly exploration of AI

DeepDive

Your weekly immersion in AI.

We’ve been looking forward to this moment for a while now: arriving in your inbox with the very first edition of DeepDive.

AI is the talk of the world right now. But it’s been the focus of every conversation at DeepFest for years – and we’ve got a lot to tell you.

We’d like to invite you to take a few minutes, once a week, to dive into the most exciting trends and innovations in AI. We’re gathering stories about AI use cases across different industries, and we’ll stay on top of the latest breakthroughs – so by subscribing to this newsletter, you can stay ahead too.

We’ll also share exclusive insights and research from the AI experts who share their knowledge at DeepFest. Because we know they’re the people you really want to hear from.

We’ll talk about generative AI (but not only generative AI)

When ChatGPT exploded into global consciousness, it suddenly seemed that AI = ChatGPT.

We know that’s not the case, and we know you know it too – AI developers are doing loads of stuff beyond developing generative AI tools for public use.

Here are some (very quick) numbers for you:

  • The global AI market size is around USD $150.2 billion in 2023 – and it’s expected to grow at a CAGR of 36.8% up to 2030 when it’ll reach $1,345.2 billion
  • AI is expected to contribute an extra $15.7 trillion to global GDP by 2030 – that’s a 14% boost
  • 91.5% of leading businesses are investing in AI on an ongoing basis

AI is a burgeoning industry. The tech is developing fast, and so is the market around it – along with the complex socio-political conversation that surrounds machine learning.

Human beings have feelings about AI. And whether or not you believe AI will also develop its own emotional experience, the way people feel will affect the direction the tech takes in the future.

Hold on – what’s DeepFest?

It’s the premier meeting place for the global Artificial Intelligence ecosystem. Taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and co-located with LEAP (the most-attended tech event in the world), DeepFest welcomes…

  • AI developers and innovators
  • Thought leaders
  • Data scientists
  • The world’s top AI companies
  • AI startups
  • Academics
  • Activists
  • Investors with a specific interest in AI

…to name just a few of the experts you’ll meet at the event.

DeepFest is the place for anyone interested in AI to learn about the latest developments and future possibilities – and to share research, experiments, and policy around the use of AI in industry and society.
